Murray will walk you through the Promised Cask range - a curated portfolio built on the conviction that the best wines come from producers whose stories deserve to be heard. Co-founded by Daniel Daly and Samuel Harwood (a chef-turned-sommelier and a marketeer with a global network), the label was born from a single glass of Meursault and a commitment to find more wines worth talking about.

The tasting takes the form of a six-wine flight - bubbles to start, then into white, rosé, and three reds - with canapes served throughout. But this is not a passive pour-and-nod. Murray will give you his own descriptors - fruity, dry, whatever the wine calls for - and you'll taste, mark down your own impressions, and then hear what's typically written about that wine online. The point is to close the gap between label language and your actual palate: by the end of the evening, you'll know what dry means to you, and feel confident taking that into any wine shop.
